JACK STITES, our Drummer and Brother of 13 years, has made a professional decision to leave the group, exploring other horizons with his music endeavors in life. We wish Jack all the best and he will always be part of the Blue Dice Family.

Hey, Dice Fans-- here it is: Blue Dice is currently putting together the New Dice--a 10-piece powerhouse that will step out in concert within the first quarter of 2008.

The group has acquired the talents of BUD GRUDNIK on Organ and Piano. Bud, a graduate of De Paul University out of Chicago, IL, has performed with the Willie Lomax Blues Revue, bringing many years of professional experience on keys.

On Drums we have acquired the talented MICK RAIN. Mick comes to Blue Dice from the Pez Band out of Chicago, IL. His Rock, Funk, Jazz and Blues skills will add a nice touch to the group. He, also, performed with the Willie Lomax Blues Revue and has worked with Bud over the years professionally in music.

The Blue Dice Horn Section has enlisted the talents of CARLOS ORTIZ on Trombone. Carlos will add a much needed touch to the horn section in rounding out the bottom with trombone and making the horn section a 5-piece punch-and-stab funk machine with incredible harmonies on Ballads and Blues. His music writing skills will add a nice Latin touch on our new music. Carlos performed in the United State’s Air force Band and, more recently, was in concert with the Legendary Willie Colon in Toronto, Canada.

Blue Dice wants to welcome to the Dice Family these talented professional players. The group is looking forward to providing our loyal fan base with some great concerts and awesome new Blue Dice music for many years to come.
